Samsung’s enterprise-friendly KNOX service may not have got the expected reception, according to the Wall Street Journal report.
Apparently, the Korean company is facing few hurdles to sell its
service to businesses with bugs and unwanted delays standing on the way. widely
The KNOX was officially announced at Mobile World Congress in February but the service was pre-loaded only after the launch of Galaxy Note 3.
One of the major reasons attributed to a lukewarm response is
Samsung’s limited experience in serving the business community. “Samsung
never really had a service business. It’s pretty much a device-oriented
business,” said one of WSJ’s source.
However, the company won’t abandon its plans to get enterprise
customers and will invest its resources accordingly, with expectations
of “large scale success in 2014.” So let us see how it goes.
