HTC Announced Dual SIM Desire 400 In Russia And Ukraine

While HTC has been relatively quiet these days, it does not necessarily mean that the company is sitting on their hands and doing nothing. Over in Russia and Ukraine, it would seem as though the Taiwanese company has quietly launched a brand new device that joins HTC’s Desire lineup as the HTC Desire 400. The handset is a dual SIM device which means that two SIM cards can be used in the phone with the option of switching between either to make calls or to send messages, making it a handy solution for those who have multiple SIMs but would rather not carry multiple devices around with them.

However it seems that both the Russian and Ukrainian website have conflicting details on the specs of the handset. We’re not sure if it’s because HTC released different specs for different markets, or if one of them has it wrong. In any case according to the specs, we can look forward to a 4.3” 480×800 display with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (dual-core according to Ukrainian website), 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, an 8MP rear-facing camera (5MP on Ukrainian page), and a 1/6 front-facing camera (VGA front-facing according to HTC Ukraine). No word on availability or pricing just yet, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information as it becomes available
