There’s still a lot of information missing about the service. However, Beats Music CEO Ian Rogers did share some great facts, which came from his Fistfulayen Blog, which he made it clear that “Beats Music is real”, along with saying “We’re in an internal private beta, with people who know and love music. We’re providing a few artists and other influencers access to familiarize them with the service and get early feedback. We’re making improvements based on that feedback. We can’t wait to share it with the world, and are set to launch in the US in January.”
This could be another streaming music service with would be US only. But hopefully it won’t be US only for long. As Google did push out their Google Play Music All Access service elsewhere in the world pretty quickly compared to their other products, which are still US Only.
Now you can also go and reserve your username by going to beatsmusic.com. There’s really not much involved with this process. Basically input your username, and if it’s available you’ll be directed to add some more personal details like your name, email address and phone number. Nothing to hard. Specifics of how this all is going to work is still not available. But hopefully we learn more soon.
