Download versions of the exclusive titles Ryse, Forza Motorsport 5 and Dead Rising 3 are now listed for £50, whereas they were initially offered for £45 as the system launched. Capcom's Dead Rising 3 now costs £50 to download in the UK
"Yes, pricing for select digital content in some markets has changed
since launch," a Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement to CVG.
"Digital content pricing is subject to change and we may occasionally
offer various deals or promotions. Ultimately pricing and promotions
will vary by region."
Even after the price revision, Xbox One's exclusive digital titles
are still less expensive than Sony's PS4 equivalents. PlayStation
exclusives Knack and Killzone Shadow Fall, for example, retail in the UK
for £53.
Third party games from the likes of Electronic Arts and Activision appear to be unaffected, though still remain unbalanced.
Call of Duty Ghosts costs £55 to download on both machines, while FIFA 14 is £60 on PS4 yet £55 on Xbox One.
