Xbox One Outsell Xbox 360 In The UK By 2-to-1

The Xbox One has outsold its predecessor the Xbox 360 by a ratio of two-to-one in the first couple of days of its release. According to industry monitor Chart-Track, Xbox One sales accounted for 80 per cent of all console sales in the UK for the last few days.
The Xbox One launched with 16 titles, 14 of which debuted in the top 40 of the games retail chart. The highest seller among all of them was FIFA 14, which, thanks to the surge in Xbox One sales, returns to the top of the all format sales chart. Call Of Duty: Ghosts slips to second place after enjoying two weeks in pole position.

Of the first part Microsoft exclusives, Forza Motorsport 5 was the frontrunner, debuting in fifth place. Dead Rising 3 landed at seventh while the sword and sandals epic Ryse: Son Of Rome entered the chart in tenth place.

Elsewhere in the chart, Battlefield 4 climbed two positions to third place while Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag was a non-mover at fourth position.
The rest of the top 10 chart shapes up as follows:
1. FIFA 14 (ranked 3rd last week)
2. Call Of Duty: Ghosts (ranked 1st last week)
3. Battlefield 4 (ranked 5th last week)
4. Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag (ranked 4th last week)
5. Forza Motorsport 5 (new entry)
6. Lego: Marvel Superheroes (ranked 2nd last week)
7. Dead Rising 3 (new entry)
8. Grand Theft Auto 5 (ranked 6th last week)
9. The Legend Of Zelda: Link Between Worlds (new entry)
10. Ryse: Son Of Rome (new entry)
